Guala Closures Group pays continuous attention to the safety aspects of its products, particularly as regards hygiene and cleanliness standards in order to guarantee customers and final consumers the highest standards of protection.
In this regard, the Guala Closures Group has adopted a specific system to manage and formalise production procedures as regards Hygiene & Health.
The system envisages the application of GPM - Good Manufacturing Practices - as well as Risk Assessment techniques that are essential to identify and remedy any critical aspects.
The meticulous parameters adopted by the system refer to the requirements of ISO 22000 standard - Management System for Food Safety - which encompasses the current ISO 9001: 2000 standards and is continuously implemented.
Although the adoption of the ISO 22000 system is not mandatory at present, the Guala Closures Group strictly applies the standards envisaged by protocol: a fundamental decision to guarantee the total protection of food products.
Since February 2008, the production plants in Goa and Daman in India have been Body BV - Bureau Veritas certified, while certification of the Italian plant in Termoli is currently underway.
