EAFA Presentation lunch in South Africa

Guala Closures took part in the EAFA event in South Africa in November 2014. Guido Aufdemkamp, the Director of Communication and Deputy Executive Director at the EAFA, presented the latest trends in the field of aluminium closures.
Michael Fridjhon, an internationally recognised wine judge, spoke about cork having long been superseded by aluminium, due to the rate of taint and oxidation from cork. “Corks don’t last forever and any problems relating to screwcaps happen at bottling” he said.
