Guala Closures New Zealand
sponsored the category "Champion Pinot Gris" at the Air New Zealand, the premier wine competition in New Zealand recognising excellence in winemaking.

In conjunction with the Awards, a gala dinner was held to announce and celebrate the Trophy winning wines and to acknowledge the talents of New Zealand winemakers. The 2015 Air New Zealand Wine Awards gala dinner was held at Saxton Stadium, Nelson on Saturday 28 November.

Tomasz Malarczyk, General Manager of Guala Closures NZ, handed the "Champion Pino Gris Trophy" to Jeff Fyfe of Yealands Wine Estates, which is one of the largest wineries in New Zealand known for their sustainable wine growing and excellent wines.
