“At Guala Closures, I have the opportunity to take on a leadership role, supported by a rewarding journey of professional and personal growth”
"For fifteen years, I worked for a multinational company in the automotive sector, where I held different roles and positions, starting while I was still studying mechanical engineering at the Politecnico di Torino. Later, in December 2012, I joined Guala Closures as Production Manager at the Magenta plant and after just six months, with great satisfaction, I became the Plant Manager.
After having served as Deputy General Manager of the Magenta Business Unit and since April 2022 also as Plant Manager in Spinetta Marengo, I have now taken on the role of General Manager at the Magenta facility, with great personal satisfaction.
I would like to express my gratitude to the Group for giving me the opportunity to learn about the entire supply chain of our products, from the coil to the finished closure, expanding my expertise in various materials such as plastic and aluminium. But above all, it is giving me the opportunity to interact with a truly fantastic team".
"International job rotation and learning experiences within the Group have given me the opportunity to build a successful and fulfilling career"
"I graduated in Industrial and Materials Engineering (Università degli Studi di Messina) and began my experience at Guala Closures through an internship as part of the Master's program in Plastic Engineering at the Politecnico di Torino. My first role was as a designer and later as a mold designer for injection molding, where I was mentored by professionals and extraordinary people who gradually introduced me to the world of closures.
For the first few years, my workplace was in Spinetta Marengo (AL - Italy). Later, I started traveling to the Bulgarian office and, after a few years, I embarked on an experience in Continuous Improvement, where I dealt with the reality of production plants in the South American region. After ten years at Guala Closures, thanks to the experience I gained, a bit of luck, and many satisfactions, I was proposed for the position of Regional Technical Manager Americas, a role I currently hold. It entails significant responsibilities but also provides me with great gratification, allowing me to experience work in a dynamic and exciting way".
"Starting from scratch in a new context, both geographic and cultural: at Guala Closures this is possible, thanks to the growth opportunities the company offers"
"My experience in Guala Closures begins in 2012 when I and my daughter decided join my husband and start a new life in Scotland.
At the beginning I faced some challenges with the language barrier and the Scottish accent, but I gradually adapted and learned. I worked in different roles within the company because I wanted to develop my skills, so I have always looked for new opportunities! After some time of gaining experience, I became Key Account Lead.
In Guala Closures every day is always a day of opportunity to learn new things. I work closely with important professionals who shape my personal growth path. I really enjoy this position even though it can be challenging!"
“Looking back at my beginnings in the company, today I can proudly say that commitment and passion are rewarded. Thank you, Guala Closures!"
"I started working for Guala Closures in 1996 as a technician of injection moulding machines. Thanks to my skills and attitude, I moved to the tool room department in the technical area. In 2000 I became the head of the mould maintenance department in Daman and I collaborated in the opening of the plants in Ahmedabad and East Africa.
Today I am a manager in Goa where I deal with 120 moulds in all 4 plants in India. I went from the level of machine operator to that of senior manager. The management of Guala Closures has always appreciated my ideas and I want to continue to give my contribution to the future development of Guala Closures India".
“From assembly operator to Plant Manager: my journey with Guala Closures keeps bringing me valuable lessons and opportunities for growth”
"The call for an interview by Guala Closures had an enormous impact on my life and my career. I had recently had to give up my studies, and was unemployed, when I started working as an assembly operator in the Bogotà facility at the start of the 2000s. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to perform a variety of tasks and to receive training in a number of departments, rising to become planning manager thanks to an in-house call for applications that rewarded my ambition and the competences acquired.
I was recently appointed to my current role of Plant Manager, which allows me to put into practice all the specific knowledge I have built up over these last 20 years. The mobility experienced between the various departments was essential to achieving this role: proof that even the most humble position has the power to teach us something and help us to develop. It’s often the simplest of tasks that lay the foundations for increasingly complex, stimulating roles and challenges".
“Life’s challenges can turn into valuable opportunities and open new horizons: that’s how I embraced a new path, which became professional growth”
"My career in Guala Closures began just after I turned 18, when I didn’t yet have a clear idea of what to expect from factory work, and above all from my job as a forklift operator. Unfortunately, the surgery I underwent in 2022 prevented me from continuing in that role; but it was then that my life took an exciting new direction. The company showed faith in my potential, and offered me the opportunity of specific training for a new department. My determination and ambition prompted me to embrace this challenge with enthusiasm. I have to thank the colleague who helped me along this process of personal growth, for his ability to transmit all his experience and enthusiasm, setting in motion a valuable “Age & mentoring” dynamic. This allowed me to overcome a series of personal hurdles and to fulfil my potential not only as a worker, but also as a mother of three children.
Guala Closures has been instrumental in allowing me to balance my private and personal life, while maintaining my ambition and desire for advancement intact".

“Renewing a promise every day: contributing, with my work and experience, to achieving ever more challenging goals”
"I joined Guala Closures right after completing my degree in Food Engineering.
My journey began in 2016 as an assistant to the Quality Manager. Step by step, I took on responsibility for the Management Systems, until 2018 when I received a truly important offer: to become Quality Manager and Sustainability Representative in Argentina.
I accepted instinctively, though I can't deny I had some fears: Guala Closures was such a huge company! Yet deep down, I felt I could face this challenge. What gave me strength was always feeling supported, both professionally and personally, by my colleagues and superiors. And believe me, finding a work-life balance while raising two little girls isn't anything but obvious.
Guala Closures isn't just a company to me - it's an extraordinary team of people who welcomed me and made me feel part of something important. In these nine years, I've reached professional milestones I could only have dreamed of before, I've met people who have enriched me and faced challenges that have helped me grow.
Every morning when I go to work, it's like renewing a promise: my commitment to Guala Closures, contributing with my work and experience to achieve increasingly positive results".
"From intern to Production Officer, every step at Guala Closures has challenged me to think bigger, work smarter, and stay purpose-driven"
"My journey with Guala Closures began in February 2020 with a simple WhatsApp message about an internship. Freshly graduated with a BSc in Mechanical Engineering, I was eager to apply my knowledge in a real-world setting.
What drew me in was more than the internship—it was the mission of protecting beverage integrity globally. Knowing our tamper-proof closures safeguard both consumers and distilleries gave me an immediate sense of purpose.
After six months as a Production Intern, I returned to finish my degree, then rejoined as Junior Production Officer. By early 2021, I was promoted to Production Officer, reflecting my deeper understanding of manufacturing and quality systems.
My role has expanded beyond production into cross-functional collaboration with maintenance, logistics, quality, and stores. I've led changeover time reduction projects, built material consumption analysis systems, and focused heavily on sustainability—developing waste reduction programs and robust scrap tracking to align productivity with environmental responsibility.
I've also pursued continuous learning: Lean Manufacturing certification, ISO 22000:2018 Internal Auditor training, plus courses in Project Management and Data Analysis.
Now, I’m integrating advanced data tools to transform how insights drive production decisions—connecting teams, improving efficiency, and fostering a culture of operational excellence. What started as a message became a journey of growth and purpose".
"At Guala Closures, you don’t just find a fulfilling career — you find a place where collaboration and trust truly matter.”
My journey with Guala Closures Poland began in May 2005, and it has been a story of continuous growth, learning, and teamwork. I started in the Sales Department, where I spent the first six months discovering the company’s rhythm and processes, followed by more than a year and a half as a Sales Specialist. This experience gave me a solid foundation in customer relations and commercial strategy.
After that, I took on the role of Regional Service Manager for three years — a position that allowed me to gain a deeper understanding of our clients’ needs and the operational aspects of our business.
Since March 2012, I’ve had the privilege of leading the Customer Service Department, working alongside a dedicated four-person team. Together, we strive to deliver outstanding service, build long-lasting relationships, and support our partners with commitment and professionalism.
Over the years, Guala Closures has offered me not only a fulfilling career path but also the chance to grow within an environment where collaboration and trust truly matter.
Beyond work, I find joy in artistic creation — designing jewelry, handbags, and plush toys gives me a way to express my creativity and find balance in my daily life. I’m also a passionate reader and lifelong learner, always eager to explore new ideas. And whenever I need to unwind, I turn to music — my constant source of inspiration and energy.
"Guala Closures turned my first job into a lifelong journey of growth."
My journey with Guala Closures Bulgaria began ten years ago, and it has been a path of constant growth and learning. Here, I’ve found not only a place to develop my skills and ambitions, but also a team of colleagues who have become true friends.
In the summer of 2015, while studying Mechatronics at the Technical University of Gabrovo, I was looking for a student job and applied to Guala Closures for an entry-level position as an unskilled worker. I was offered a role in the Tooling Department — the perfect place to put into practice what I was learning at university.
On 21 July 2015, I officially began my career as a machine operator on metalworking machines. After two years, I was promoted to Technologist, a role that allowed me to deepen my technical expertise and gain hands-on experience that no classroom could provide. Working closely with the Technical Team of Guala Closures Italy further expanded my professional knowledge and improved my practical skills.
In 2020, I completed my master’s degree in Mechatronics, and the following year I was appointed Production Manager of the Tooling Equipment Department. This promotion was not only a recognition of my efforts but also a new challenge — one that I have embraced with commitment and responsibility.
Sometimes, it’s the unexpected moments that shape our lives — and for me, Guala Closures has been the place where opportunity met determination.
"In Guala Closures I discovered that quality is not just a control — it’s a mindset that grows with you."
When I joined Guala Closures in February 2013 as a Quality Supervisor, I was taking my very first step into the world of production and manufacturing. It was a new environment, fast-paced and demanding, and I quickly realized how much there was to learn. What began as my first job soon became a journey of discovery — not only of quality systems and processes, but also of my own potential.
In the early years, I was responsible for online inspections of semi-finished components. Standing on the production floor, I learned to look beyond the surface — to understand how every detail could influence the result. Later, I was entrusted with finished goods quality checks, ensuring that every product met both our internal standards and our customers’ expectations. With each new responsibility, my confidence and technical knowledge grew.
My curiosity pushed me to deepen my expertise through training in ISO 9001, ISO 22000 and ISO 14001 management systems. At the same time, managing customer complaints and coordinating resolutions directly at customer sites strengthened my problem-solving skills and taught me the true meaning of customer focus: listening carefully, acting quickly, and always aiming for improvement.
A defining milestone in my journey was the introduction of aluminum caps in India, innovative closures featuring internal valve systems. Being involved in setting up the production line and participating in customer site trials was both a challenge and a privilege. It was an opportunity to contribute not just to quality control, but to the development and success of an entirely new product line.
Looking back, my path at Guala Closures reflects continuous learning, adaptability, and the drive to improve every day. I am grateful for the trust and opportunities I have received, and I remain committed to growing alongside the company — ensuring quality, efficiency, and excellence in everything we do.
"I set high standards not only in quality, but also in my own professional growth."
I joined Guala Closures in 2009, at the beginning of my professional journey, with a strong desire to learn and contribute. My first role was as assembler, where I spent over a year gaining hands-on experience on the production line. That time taught me the value of precision, focus and consistency — essential elements for delivering quality every day.
After that, I moved to the technical control department as an inspector. For three years, I deepened my understanding of quality processes, learning to identify even the smallest details that can make a difference.
In 2013, I was given the opportunity to join the production management team as Deputy Production Manager for Quality. It was an important step forward, allowing me to contribute not only through execution but also through coordination and decision-making. Just six months later, I was also entrusted with the role of Head of the Quality Control Office — a milestone that reflected the trust placed in me.
Today, I bring energy, determination and a strong sense of accountability to my work. I am demanding — both with myself and with my team — because I believe that high standards are the foundation of success. At the same time, I value collaboration and organization as key drivers for achieving our goals.
Outside of work, I am a young mother, and balancing a dynamic family life with my professional responsibilities is both a challenge and a source of motivation. It has taught me flexibility, resilience and the importance of making every moment count.
Looking back, my journey has been built on continuous learning, commitment and passion for quality. And every day, I strive to move forward with the same mindset: to grow, improve and always raise the standard.
