Guala Closures North America participated to the 22° annual “Unified Wine & Grape Symposium”, the largest wine & grape industry trade show in North America.
Again this year the focus was on screwcaps for wine customized with the use of the GCDS printing machine, which combines ink-jet printing technology with other features such as surface treatments, special base lacquers, dedicated UV curing system etc … and produced in the exclusive DESIGN STUDIO based in Fairfield, CA.
This type of decoration, in addition to the traditional types of printing as silkscreening, hotfoiling, offsetting, lithography and embossing, allows us to satisfy the most complex requirements of our customers.
In addition, many people were attracted by our WAK® closure, that combines a unique technology with a traditional look. It matches the famous shape of the wine bottle with the numerous advantages of screwcaps for wine, thanks to an internal thread that is not visible from the outside, but is inserted into the long aluminium shell.
