Guadalajara is a 3-day event, which took place from June 11th to 13th, in the city of Guadalajara in Mexico. The fair is one the most important international event in the field of process and packaging technologies in the food, beverage, pharmaceutical and cosmetic sectors; this year there were about 700 exhibitors on 15,000 m2.
Guala Closures on its booth had the opportunity to present the "Luxury Closure Artisan", the perfect combination of technology and tradition, where the search for perfection creates small handmade treasures. On technological level, of greater relevance was the range of connected closures, which with the presence of an NFC tag inserted in the capsule, transforms a simple bottle into a connected bottle and allows to producers and companies to start a 1 to 1 relationship with their end consumers.
Finally, a space has been dedicated to the new closures resulting from sustainable research, composed of a percentage of agave fibers coming from the production processing of tequila. This material, added to plastic, makes it possible to obtain aesthetic overcaps in different shapes and colors, decreasing the percentage of virgin polymer used.
