The recycling rate of aluminium has reached 45% in Europe: there is still room for improvement! Given that its recycling process allows to save up to 95% energy compared to its primary production (maintaining its quality intact), once on the market aluminium can be a true eco-friendly ally.
We can draw inspiration from countries like Germany, which is showing the way with a recycling rate at 85%, and Italy which has also engaged in a fruitful recycling momentum (65% rate), in order to help other European countries to catch up and thus keep improving at a European level.
