On Thursday March 2 the first edition of the Italian Design Day have been also celebrated in Luxembourg, at the Auditorium of Banque de Luxembourg. Launched by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in collaboration with the Triennale di Milano, the Italian Design Day aims to promote contemporary Italian Design and highlight its excellence and global success. For this occasion, in about 100 locations worldwide, 100 "ambassadors" of Italian culture (designers, entrepreneurs, journalists, critics, teachers) tell projects of excellence.
The event, organized by the Italian Embassy in Luxembourg in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce Italo-Luxembourg and the European Institute of Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe has focused on the relationship between "brands, territories and quality" with the testimony of three multinational companies with solid roots in Piedmont: Ferrero International, Pininfarina and Guala Closures Group.
