Guala Closures Group, world leader in the production of closures, has been committed to a long-term strategy of sustainable excellence and innovation since 2010. Today, to demonstrate the strategic importance of sustainability and its tangible commitment to implementing the same, Guala Closures has published its first report on Sustainable Development.
This report makes the Group’s vision and objectives public and official. It is addressed to all of its stakeholders, starting with the men and women that work for Guala Closures. It will be published annually, and will provide a clear illustration of the tangible results achieved.
This first report, relating to 2011, refers to the Group’s Italian production sites; it will then gradually be extended to cover the Group’s global operations.
The definition and the implementation of the sustainable strategy has been entrusted to a “Green Team”, a dedicated organisational unit where all company departments are represented, led by Franco Bove, Group COO.
