Guala Closures, a global leader in specialty beverage closure solutions, has been awarded the EcoVadis Gold Medal for the second consecutive year, confirming the Gold recognition achieved in 2024 and further improving its overall sustainability performance.
In the 2025 assessment, Guala Closures achieved a score of 81/100, up from 76/100 in the previous year. This result places the Group in the 97th percentile, well above the threshold for Gold recognition (5%), and ranks Guala Closures among the top 3% of companies assessed worldwide by EcoVadis over the past 12 months.
EcoVadis is one of the world’s most established and trusted ESG rating providers, evaluating companies’ sustainability performance across four key areas: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement.

The 2025 result reflects the continued implementation of Guala Closures’ sustainability program and, in particular, the significant progress achieved in two key areas.
On the environmental front, EcoVadis acknowledged the Group’s ongoing efforts to reduce its environmental footprint, including the increasing use of renewable energy sources and the adoption of a responsible energy procurement strategy across its operations.
In the area of Labor & Human Rights, the assessment recognized the important work carried out by the Group in terms of policies, procedures, and certifications, reinforcing its commitment to promoting safe, inclusive, and respectful workplaces throughout its global footprint.
This achievement further consolidates sustainability as a core pillar of Guala Closures’ strategy, fully integrated into its business model and long-term value creation for customers, partners, employees, and the communities in which it operates.
