ISO 22000 - Food Safety Management Systems

Each plant is required to implement and certify a management system that complies with the basic ISO 22000:2018 standard or similar.

ISO 14001: Environmental Management System.

The Group has, for a considerable time, achieved a corporate certification that provides for the extension of the certification to all plants.

The Group has, for a long period, achieved a corporate certification that provides for the extension of the certification to all plants.

ISO 50001 - Energy Management System.

Implemented at the production plant in Worms, Germany. The sustainability program provides for an extension of certification to all our plants.

ISO 45001 – Occupational Health and Safety Management System.

Implemented in the production plants of Spinetta Marengo (Italy), Wloclawek (Poland) and Bridge of Allan (Scotland). By 2030, it will be implemented in every plant in the Group.

BRC certification

BRC – Global Food Safety standard

Implemented in the production plant in Santiago de Chile (Chile).

ISCC certification

ISCC Plus - International Sustainability and Carbon Certification.

Certification obtained at the Spinetta Marengo (Italy), Kirkintilloch (UK) and Chambray (France) plants. It allows the use of mass balance certified polymers for the production of packaging.

Sedex.

100% of production plants accredited by Sedex. Sedex provides guidelines on best practices and ethical audit techniques to help auditors conduct high-quality audits (SMETA) for responsible business practices.

Ecovadis

Ecovadis is one of the most recognized international sustainability rating platforms. In July 2023 we obtained a silver medal at Group level. Guala Closures ranks in the TOP 7% of companies in the same sector.
